Assalamualaikum, Welcome to Quwwat-ul-Islam Girls’ School
Quwwat-ul-Islam Girls’ School was established in August 2003. Initially, the school enrolled just fifty pupils but over time, by the Grace of Allah, the school expanded and has gone from strength to strength. In September 2005 the school was extended to cater for Secondary pupils also.
We now cater for pupils from Reception to the end of Year 11, teaching the National Curriculum Subjects as well as providing a solid Islamic education within a nurturing Islamic environment. Your daughter will, InshaAllah, leave Quwwat-ul-Islam Girls’ School with the knowledge, maturity and confidence to face a bright and successful future.
Quwwat-ul-Islam Girls’ School celebrates diversity and welcomes applications from children of all faiths and backgrounds.
Quwwat-ul-Islam Girls’ School thanks all of its past and current parents for their continuous support and cooperation.
Solutions for the Planet Finals – We Won!!!
This year our KS3 students have been taking part in the Solutions for the Planet Programme. All 4 of our entries qualified for and took part in the regional Semi-Finals which were held at the University of East London (Dockland Campus). One of semi-finalists, Team Vitaliite, made it to the final in Westminster. We are proud to announce that the Vitaliite team came in first place nationally! Masha’Allah tabarakallah! A big well done to the students who having been working extremely hard for the last 8 months and the staff members and parents who have supported the girls through this journey. We couldn’t be more proud of our girls, Masha’Allah!
PTA Spring Party
The PTA organised a fundraising event on Friday 6th May. This was a ladies only event, an opportunity to come in and enjoy a lovely dinner, games, auction and prizes. In total the PTA raised £2657.67 for the school. We received some great feedback for the event and are looking forward to next year’s event, Insha’Allah.
WWF Wear it Wild
We took part in Wear it Wild which is WWF’s annual fundraising event on Friday 27th May.
Since 1970, populations of wild species have fallen by half. Without the tireless efforts of conservation organisations like WWF, iconic species like tigers, elephants and rhinos could become extinct in our lifetimes.
Taking part in Wear it Wild was a great way to raise funds, raise awareness – and have fun too!
We raised £320.34 for WWF!
